Instructor Profile Sabumnim Billy Wade 1961 - Started practicing Okinawan Te during my stint in the U.S. Navy, aboard the USS Essex. 1963 - Trained in Shotokai at a Naval Hospital. Honorably discharged from the Navy. 1981 - Started training with Kwanjanim Fred Richmond at UICC. 1984 - Received my 1st Degree Black Belt under Sabumnim Sam Brown 1984 - Took over classes at UICC and Daley College. 1986 - Received my 2nd Degree Black Belt under Kwanjanim Fred Richmond. 1989 - Received my 3rd Degree Black Belt under Kwanjanim Fred Richmond. 1993 - Received my 4th Degree Black Belt under Kwanjanim Fred Richmond. 1996 - Started classes at Curie Park and Scottsdale Park. 1998 - Received my 5th Degree Black Belt under Kwanjanim Fred Richmond. 2004 - Received my 6th Degree Black Belt under Kwanjanim Fred Richmond. 2008 - Received my 7th Degree Black Belt under Kwanjanim Fred Richmond.
